IMLIL & TOUBKAL SUMMIT DAY TRIP

If you want to escape the bustling Marrakech for a day trip, there is nothing better than a short trip in the fresh Mountain air of the Toubkal National Park in the High Atlas to the Mountain village of Imlil passing many Berber villages along the way. You will arrive at a main trail head with streams and paths branching out in all directions, and experience the dramatic scenery of the Atlas Mountains.

You will leave the vehicle at the village of Imlil where you will be welcomed in a local guest house for a glass of mint tea. You will take a walk and trek for 2 hours, hiking up to Armed, the highest and the biggest village in the Imlil Valley. Trek through many of the Berber villages of Ait Souka, passing the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa and Imoula en route. On this private guided day trip to Imlil you will get to hike with a local guide or take a mule for a short trek to get to Kasbah Toubkal or a Local guest house where you will have lunch and enjoy the view of the green gardens and the blue sky.
